Community Access Program (CAP)

The Community Access Program helps make recreation, wellness and community services more accessible for High River residents. Designed to reduce financial barriers and strengthen community connections, CAP provides eligible individuals and families with discounted access to recreation programs, facility admissions and services offered by local community partners.

CAP card holders receive 50 per cent off Town of High River recreation programs, admissions, and passes at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex. Additional discounts are available through participating local businesses and organizations, including wellness services, community events, retail purchases, and more. A valid CAP card must be presented at the time of registration, admission, drop-in, or purchase. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively.

The CAP program is committed to helping residents stay active, connected, and engaged in the community by making recreation, learning, and wellness opportunities more affordable for everyone.

How to Apply

Applications are available through the FCSS Resource Centre and are open to High River residents who meet the annual household income guidelines. To apply, residents must provide proof of residency, identification for household members, and proof of income. Existing CAP card holders must renew their card annually by June 30.
